Kontrol Sports was incorporated in Manila in 1996 by a husband & Kiwi wife team who wanted to combine their respective sports, fashion & business knowledge to bring top quality eyewear to the public at a fraction of the price normally paid. Kontrol was conceptualized & started out as a speciality sports eyewear company catering mostly to competitive & recreational sports in need of excellent eye protection. In 2000 Kontrol started heading down the sports fashion route and became a well known brand in Manila.USA & Australian Offices.
In Jan 2004, Kontrol Sports started distributing the Sports Fashion line on the Gold Coast, Australia. June 2004 marks the start of operations in San Francisco, U.S.A.
New Zealand Office
The New Zealand Distributors, from an Importing and distributing sales background Greg Round is the Auckland based Manager and handles the day to day operations, is also backed up by Felacita Hunt.
Felacita brings a very clear understanding of the sports users needs from her many years in Health and Fitness as a Personal Trainer and an International award winning Body Figure Sculpter, along with a good keen golfing addiction.

Rachael Barton del Mundo brings her honed eye for trend and design from her years on the international modeling circuit, which immersed her in all the fashion cities of Europe, Asia and the USA.Combining with the sports knowledge of husband and Co-Managing Director, Ric del Mundo, Physical Education graduate (majoring in sports injuries & prevention) - he's the guy on the ground, so to speak constantly testing & consulting with sports users everywhere to bring out only the top performing styles in durability, comfort, strength & safety.
